Some important dates of the domain

Philippe Greiner has been a winegrower from father to son for several centuries and took over the family business in 1988. Until then a member of a wine cellar, he decided in 2005 to fly with his own wings: joined by his wife Laurence who was reorienting herself professionally, they launched together in their own vinification. Their wines are made from old vines with moderate yields and located around RIQUEWIHR, particularly on the Grands Crus Schoenenbourg and Sporen.

Their children Jean and Vincent have also joined the estate after their studies and intend to take over the estate in the future.

An important development for the future

The vineyard is managed using integrated viticulture and has gradually evolved towards organic method, which has been practised on all our vines since 2008. A little away from the tourist crowds in the city centre, the estate has a beautiful working space.

Since 2019, the estate is also certified High Environmental Value.

Ideal location

The estate is located at the foot of the prestigious Schoenenbourg hillside and a few minutes from the historic centre of the medieval town of Riquewihr. The recent installations offer optimal conditions for the work of the vineyard and the care of the wines.

We can also offer visitors free private parking.

Transmission

The transmission of know-how and values is important. This is why Laurence and Philippe pass on their passion for winemaking to their two sons Vincent and Jean every day. They will thus be able to bring their own visions to the estate and they too will become organic wine producers in Alsace and thus continue to write the history of our vineyard.
